Eligibility:

• The YMS Concert Series is open to all the rising musicians from age 5 and up.
• Participants must demonstrate proficiency in piano performance at an intermediate to advanced level.

Repertoire:

• Each participant must prepare one single work or two contrasting pieces of their choice.
• Repertoire selections may include classical, romantic, contemporary, or any other style deemed appropriate.
• Total performance time for each participant should not exceed 4 minutes.

Application Process:

• Interested pianists must complete payment and submit an online application form.
• The application form should include personal information and number of seats for each perofrmer's audiences.
• A non-refundable application fee is required.

Selection Process:

• The selection committee reserves the right to choose participants at their discretion.
• Selected participants will be announced online through BHI MUSICAL ARTS official website.

Performance Guidelines:

• Participants must perform their pieces from memory.
• Performances should demonstrate technical proficiency, musical expression, and interpretation.
• Dress code for performers is formal attire.

Rehearsal and Performance:

• Participants may have the opportunity to attend a rehearsal session prior to the concert, 11AM -11:30AM will be the check-in time.
• Due to the amount of the applications we have received this year, we kindly ask each artist prepare well before come to the event. We don't guarantee each performer will have chance to try out the piano. 
• The showcase concert will be held at the 695 Park Ave, New York, NY, 10065, United States at the Ida K. Lang Recital Hall, at Hunter College. the City University of New York.

Recording and Photography:

• The organizers reserve the right to record and photograph performances for promotional purposes.
• Participants and their guardians consent to the use of their images and recordings for promotional materials.

Code of Conduct:

• Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
• Any disruptive behavior may result in disqualification from the showcase.

Liability:

• BHI Musical Arts and its organizers are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the showcase event.

Disclaimer:
